I recently downloaded Backup995. I've been backing up my files on a regular basis, but yesterday I needed to restore a particular folder from the last backup.

I clicked the "Restore" tab, but none of the things I expected to see appeared on the screen. The "Backup Date" appeared as 70/01/01 with a time of 06:55:08. In addition, the box where I'm supposed to highlight the folder(s) to restore is completely blank.

Using Windows Explorer I searched my backup drive to make sure that all the backups I made were in fact on my backup drive, and they are. None of my backup sessions is identified with a date. Therefore it's impossible to correlate the dates on the "Restore" screen with the files and folders on my backup drive. What can I do?

In order to fix the issue, I suggest you uninstall the program from your computer (Control panel > Uninstall a program) and download and install its latest version. If the backup was created correctly, the new version of the program will automatically import the data to its libraries and you should be able to back up the folder. If you still have issues, I suggest you contact the developers using [email protected] email address.
